Overview

You can check your ARI (Availability, Rate and Inventory) via Main Menu > Calendar.


Description

There are 2 Calendar views if you are connected to a Property Management System (PMS):

Main Calendar - you can view your Inventory, Rates, Open/Close and Restriction by selecting specific channels 

PMS Calendar - you can view your Inventory, Rates and Restriction  (data you have build in the Property Connector) pull from your PMS


You will find the following 2 Calendar views if you are not connected to a Property Management System(PMS):

Main Calendar - you can view your Inventory, Rates, Open/Close and Restriction by selecting specific channels 

Extranet Calendar - you can view and update your Inventory, Rates and Restriction


All Calendar views allow you to filter by specific room type, rate plan and restriction.

A red icon indicates this rate plan is closed.

Restrictions

The following restrictions are shown and you are able to select a maximum of 5 to display at one time:

Customize View allows you to select which 5 to display, please see next section - Customize View

  • Close Arrival/Departure
  • Minimum/Maximum Length of Stay
  • Minimum/Maximum Stay Through
  • Minimum/Maximum Advance Booking

Rates - Main Calendar

Under Main Calendar, you can expand the channel icon to display multi-adult rates. You can also access the Tax and fee, Offset Settings by clicking on the 'calculator' icon as indicated, for details on how to update the Tax and fee, Offset Settings, please refer to How to Add the Offsets on the Rates


Open/Close - Main Calendar

'Open/Close' view allow user to check the open/close DerbySoft pushed to the channel in an easier way. Please refer to How to do Stop Sell in Property Connector for more details.

Sell Limit

The Sell Limit rule automatically applies a "stop sell" when a rate plan is sold a certain number of times. It safeguards against overselling a particular offer. You can set on total level or channel level.



Refresh Data

Refresh your data without losing your current settings (channel, room types, rate plans, etc)

Sort & Favorite

Sort & Favorite allows user to shuffle the room type display sequence and mark your favorite rate plan at top listing

Customize View

You can customize your view to display your preferred default channel, rate type / occupancy rates, and up to 5 restrictions


Legend

You can locate the definition and icon in Legend pop up screen

Avail: Total available room received from PMS minus Net Booked.

Net Booked: Room booked through Property Connector.

  : The rate is lower than the Min rate, or higher than the Max rate. Any rate plan with the rate lower than the Min rate will be closed. Any rate higher than the Max rate will be updated with the Max rate automatically when being sent to the channel.

Open/Closed: 


Closed for Arrival: No reservations can be made for arrival on the selected date.

Closed for Departure: No reservations can be made having a departure date falling on this date or in this date range.

Minimum Length of Stay: New reservations arriving on the date where a Minimum Length of Stay restriction is in place, must meet the minimum number of days on the Minimum Length of Stay restriction in order to be booked.

Maximum Length of Stay: New reservations arriving on the date where a Maximum Length of Stay restriction is in place, cannot exceed the maximum number of days on the Maximum Length of Stay restriction in order to be booked.

Minimum Stay Through: If any part of a new reservation touches the Minimum Stay Through restriction date(s), it cannot include less than the minimum number of days on the stay restriction in order to be booked.

Maximum Stay Through: If any part of a new reservation touches the Maximum Stay Through restriction date(s), it cannot exceed the maximum number of days on the stay restriction in order to be booked.

Minimum Advance Booking: New reservations are subject to a minimum number of days booking window and cannot be booked to arrive on the date where a Minimum Advance Booking restriction is in place once the number of days before the arrival date falls below the number of days on the Minimum Advance Booking restriction.

Maximum Advance Booking: New reservations are subject to a maximum number of days booking window and cannot be booked to arrive on the date where a Maximum Advance Booking restriction is in place until the number of days before the arrival date falls below the number of days on the Maximum Advance Booking restriction.
