Once any new booking/modification/cancellation request from the channels is received by DerbySoft Property Connector, you can always find the booking status in the Portal.


For hotels with the PMS integrated with DerbySoft Property Connector, the booking request will be delivered to your PMS.

For New Bookings:

Status shows in the Property Connector booking listStatus DescriptionNext Step
The PMS has received and confirmed the reservation.

An email notification will be sent out to the recipients with the subject Booking Notification with booking details.
Please find the booking in your PMS.

If your PMS is not showing the reservation however status is shown as 'Confirmed'. You can search in your PMS with the PMS confirmation ID found in DerbySoft, and provide the ID to the IT or PMS vendor for their investigation.
The reservation has been sent out to the hotel PMS, while the confirmation ID has not been sent back yet.

If the status lasts for more than 30 minutes, a warning email will be sent out with the subject PMS Delivery Warning.
If this issue persists, please find your IT to follow the steps for the checking.

If you see a large number of bookings that are having the status as processing, please contact your IT for the possible connection error or PMS vendors for the PMS outbound issue. 
The PMS has rejected the reservation or DerbySoft property Connector has rejected the reservation. Further action is required.

An email notification will be sent out to the recipients with the subject Booking Failed.
You can find the reason why the booking failed based on the error messages.


For Booking Cancellations:

Status shows in the Property Connector  booking listStatus DescriptionNext Step
 The PMS has received and confirmed the cancellation.

An email notification will be sent out to the recipients with the subject Cancel Notification.
Please find the booking in your PMS.

If your PMS is not showing the reservation however status is shown as 'Cancelled'. You can search in your PMS with the PMS confirmation ID found in DerbySoft, and provide the ID to the IT or PMS vendor for their investigation.
The reservation has been sent out to the hotel PMS, while the confirmation has not been sent back yet.

If the status lasts for more than 30 minutes, a warning email will be sent out with the subject PMS Delivery Warning.

 This warning tag is assigned to abnormal reservations that encountered connection errors and may not synchronize the reservation confirmation request with the channel.

The PMS has received and confirmed the modification.

An email notification will be sent out to the recipients with the subject Modify Notification.

If your PMS is not showing the reservation however status is shown as 'Mod'. You can search in your PMS with the PMS confirmation ID found in DerbySoft, and provide the ID to the IT or PMS vendor for their investigation.
The modification request has been sent out to the hotel PMS, while the confirmation has not been sent back yet.

If the status lasts for more than 30 minutes, a warning email will be sent out with the subject PMS Delivery Warning.
If this issue persists, please find your IT to follow the steps for the checking.

If you see a large number of bookings that are having the status as processing, please contact your IT for the possible connection error, or PMS vendors for the PMS outbound issue.

Confirm/Modify/Cancel Processing for more than 30 minutes


For the bookings with the status to be Confirm/Modify/Cancel Processing for more than 30 mins, a warning email will be sent out with the subject PMS Delivery Warning. 


And at the same time, there will be 2 more buttons appearing in the column action at the right end.


Please check your PMS if the booking has been interfaced with your PMS.

If yes, please manually confirm the booking in the DerbySoft Property Connector Portal by clicking 'Confirm' on the right side, and then input the PMS confirmation number.


If no, you can click 'Repush' in the drop-down list 'More' to re-push the booking into your Opera.


Please note that the modification and cancellation will be FAILED on those bookings with the status to be Confirm/Modify/Cancel Processing.
