As part of our design update, the screenshots are currently being revised.
With Multi-Property Group Admin, you can effortlessly launch new channels, create brand-specific or tagged channel accounts, and assign them to properties. This ensures consistent pricing models, rate rules, and source codes across all your properties, all while maintaining group-level channel approval.
1. Channel Control
Channel Control allows you to either show all channels or Group connected channels to property users. With Property Channel Connection Approval activated, when a property is submitting a new channel request, Group Admin users will expect an email notification for approval.
2. New Channel Activation
Go to Channel > Available channel > select your channel, click [Connect]
3. Channel Activation
If your hotel group has a group contract with the channel, and the channel has created a group level credential, then activate. (For Expedia: API username, password), otherwise use Independent.
Once you activate the channel, our team will receive your request and validate the application, you will receive a confirmation email once this is approved.
You will expect an email notification after approval.
By clicking the “Open Property Connector” button, you will go directly to the Create Channel Account page. You can set up group level channel credentials and assign the channel account to hotels under your group. Some channels require you to fill in Machine Account and API key which are for the connectivity instead of the extranet login information. Please find your hotel group for the credentials.
After completing the assignment, you can click “Add” and go to the next page “Overwrite Changes”
On this page, you will review the current account (if available) and new account for your selected hotels. Upon validating the data, you can click “Overwrite”. This action will replace the current property settings with your new account settings. Please exercise caution with this and ensure the property is informed of any changes as it may impact the ARI.
After the account setting has been “Overwrite”, the status will be updated to “Success”. If there are any errors, you can retry clicking the “Overwrite” button.
4. To assign new properties to channel accounts
If you have already created a channel account, you can assign new properties to the existing channel account by the following steps:
- Go to Channel > Connected Channel > Channel Account > Action - Assign
- On this page, you can add or remove properties. Please keep in mind that once you create the channel account, you cannot update its information, such as the account name and account type. If you create a channel account with wrong information, you can create a new channel account and delete the wrong one.
From Multi-property you can access individual property to continue the channel activation and set up. Please refer to the Channel Onboarding Generic Guide for reference.
5. Channel Property
You are able to see the Channel Property and their connectivity status (Connected, Connecting, Unconnected or Pending Approval)
6. Override Channel Settings
This function allows Group Admin users to standardize the Pricing Model, Rate Rules, Source code and Guarantee codes.
You will be prompted to review and apply the changes.
