How to add a new Rate Plan (Multi-Property)

As part of our design update, the screenshots are currently being revised.
A rate plan allows you to sell the same room in various ways. Rate Plan in Property Connector Multi-Property mode allows user to standardize Rate Plan ID, Rate Plan Name, Payment Method, Cancelation and No Show policy, etc and assign to applicable properties.
1. Add Group Rate Plan - Create New
1.1 Add rate plan
Go to Home Page > Rates > Rate Plan > Click Add Rate Plan
1.2 Data Input
Fill in the rate plan information and click Save
1.21 Basic
- Rate plan ID: Rate Plan ID should match with your PMS
- Meal Plan: Select meal plan from the drop-down list, and click Learn More for detailed explanation of each option
- Rate Plan Name: The name of the rate plan.
- Currency: When the PMS is connected, the Currency based on your PMS set up
- Payment Method: Select a payment method from the drop-down list (Prepay, POA or Others).
- Rate Type: Tax Inclusive, Exclusive or Both.
- Price Type: Select a price type from the drop-down list (Net or Sell).
- GDS Rate Category: For GDS use. Select from Negotiate, Promotion or Others.
- Market Code: Rate Plan Market Code.
- Source Code: Rate Plan Source Code.
- Day Use: Activate this field when this rate plan is used for Day Use Room
Only the Rate Plan ID is required. All other fields are optional and can be edited at the property level, unless you choose to standardize data entry.
Discount (optional if this is a derived rate)
- Base Rate - Select from the drop down list of all existing group rate plans
- Derive Rule - set as an increase/decrease of fixed value/percentage based on the base rate plan
- Rounding by - you can round up/down/to the nearest/to the nearest hundredth/rounding up to the hundredth/rounding down to the hundredth
- Add Specific Date Derive Rule - to set a specific date range for the derive rule.
Cancellation and No-show Policy (optional if you prefer to standardize the policy)
- Cancellation and No-show Policy: Consists of Default or Specific Cancellation Policy
- Default Cancellation: The default cancellation rules of the room rate plan, select the following 4 rules:
- Non Refundable
- Free Cancel
- Customize - you can set up your customized policy code. Click Learn More for detailed explanation
- Specific Date Policy: You can add up to 15 date range or Days of Week based on your default rules
1.3 Rate Setup
Rate Model
- Update via PMS integration: Rate value is updated via PMS integration
- Manage Manually: user to update rate value manually in the Property Connector
- Setup Later: to set up at property level
Minimum/Maximum Rate - optional field to standardize the minimum and maximum rate
1.4 Property Assignment
- Select the applicable property and save
1.5 Mapping
Assign Room Type
- All Room Type of Selected Properties - to assign all room types of selected properties
- Hotel Group Room Types - to assign hotel group room types to selected properties
- Assign Later - to set up at property level
Profile
- Profile option allows user to assign a company profile or travel agent profile to a rate plan.
2. Modify Group Room Type
2.1 Rate Plan Control - Select the rate plan you wish to synchronize the update (e.g. rate plan name) to assigned property
3. Property user view
Rate plans created at the Group level will display a "Group" tag.
