When bookings with addons are received from a channel, DerbySoft automatically translates those addons into the corresponding Package IDs within your Property Management System (PMS).
This feature is primarily designed for addons that are not included in your standard rate plans.
Steps for implementing Addon Integration:
Step 1: Create the package codes in DerbySoft > Package
- Go to Main Menu > Package
- Click Add Package
- Enter the unique PMS Package ID for each addon
- Enter the Package Name
- Enter Description for your internal reference.
After you save, a "Mapping Channel Package" pop up allow you to select the channel to map this package. Choose the channel or click "Not Now" to continue
Step 2: Create the Code Mapping in DerbySoft > Channel
- Go to Main Menu > Channel
- Select the specific channel for which you want to map the addon.
- Access Channel Package Tab
- Activate "Identify package reservation from channel"
- Enter the unique Channel Package Code used by the selected channel for the specific addon.
- Select the corresponding DerbySoft Package created in Step 1 that corresponds to the channel's package code
By completing these steps, you effectively establish the connection between the channel's addon code and your hotel's internal package ID within the DerbySoft system. This ensures accurate and seamless integration of addon information into your PMS.
