1. Channel Preparation Work

Please contact your Meituan Market Manager for commercial agreement and your intention to connect to Meituan. After the contract and all internal documentation for static data are all set, you can complete the channel setting and room rates mapping in the Property Connector.

Important Note: Please confirm with Meituan if they have completed the hotel static information set up before you channel activation



2. Property Connector Channel Set up

2.1 Channel Activation

a) Go to Channel > Available Channel > Click on Meituan then Connect

b) Select the applicable Meituan Account Type (China Group, China Independent, Oversea Group or Oversea Independent), click Activate

c) If this is a hotel group level commercial contract, please enter the Meituan Group Name after you select Group (China Group or Oversea Group).


Important Note: Please make sure you have already signed the contract with Meituan before activation


Channel activation is pending for approval. Please expect an email when the channel is activated

2.2) Channel Setting

a) After DerbySoft approves your channel, you can continue the set up

b) Complete the information of Currency and Pricing Model. For Partner ID, ClientID and ClientSecret, you should have received these information from Meituan Market Manager 

Important Note: Same Partner ID, ClientID and ClientSecret are shared for group level hotels.

c) Continue the Rate Rules set up

Please note that Rate Type to Meituan is Tax Inclusive (AAT)

d) Click Go Live when you have completed

3. Property Connector Channel Room Rates

3.1 Channel Room Rates Assignment

a) As you have not assigned any room rates and room types, you will see a reminder message "Kindly remember to complete the Channel Room Rates. Once Channel Room Rates is done, your data will be pushed to the channel." 


We will push the availability, rates, and inventory (ARI) data to the channel as soon as this is completed

b) Click on the Channel Room Rates, select the eligible room rate and room type products you want to launch, select Live, and click Save. In the future, we will synchronize the ARI of the product you selected to Meituan channel.

You are required to fill in the the Payment Method and Meituan Rate Plan Name (Chinese) on the Room Rate Setting pop up box, then Save

Congratulations on the successful completion of the direct connection between the hotel and Meituan! Please notify Meituan Market Manager for the next action.
