Onboarding Process

Step 1：Channel Preparation

1. To confirm the business agreement with Douyin

Hotel to contact Douyin Market Manager about their intention to connect with DerbySoft. 


2. Register “Douyin Laike”

1）If hotel does not have an account, please contact Douyin Market Manager and create an account at Douyin Laike

2）Douyin Market Manager to assist the hotel in submitting required information, complete the audit and the POI claim before completing the registration.


Hotels in Hong Kong and Macau require to contact the Douyin Market Manager to make a whitelist and complete the POI claim. You will find the location of Hong Kong and Macao displayed on the platform, you can complete the registration by selecting your region and entering the detailed address.  


3. Sign in “Douyin Laike”

If you already have an account with “Douyin Laike”, log in to your account at Douyin Laike.

4. Select【德比软件】as your service provider

1）Hotel to click【新增授权】from the platform (path:【抖音来客】后台店铺管理】-【服务应用授权】-【服务商代理】) 

2）Fill in the data according to the attached screenshot. Please note that DO NOT SELECT the option of 【代理商-酒店静态信息自助获取】

3）Please wait for DerbySoft admin approval. 

4）You can see the green tag of 【授权状态】when this is approved and authorized.

Step 2：Property Connector - Channel Setting

1. Select Channel

In Property Connector, go to “Channel Management” and select “Available Channel”. Choose Douyin and click “Connect”

2. Activate Channel

After selecting the Hotel Type, click “Activate” and wait for DerbySoft admin approval. Once this is activated, an email notification will be sent out to you to complete the activation and channel room rate process.

3. Provide Hotel Information

DerbySoft Customer Success Team will contact you to complete the hotel's information spreadsheet and other related files: 

  • Hotel information spreadsheet (provided by DerbySoft, * field are mandatory for Douyin verification) 
  • Room type photos, at least one photo of each room type;
  • Hotel photos, at least one hotel photo is provided.


Step 3：Create Company on DerbySoft Unified Platform

1. Add/Connect Company

1. Please add/connect a company for your property on the DerbySoft Unified Platform. You can also contact the DerbySoft administrator for assistance in creating the company

2）Fill in the company information  by entering the company name and click “Next”. 

3）Provide the company’s business license number, upload a photo of the business license, select the business type, and enter the company website. Click “Submit” and wait for DerbySoft admin to review.

4）DerbySoft admin to review and approve the company creation process. 


2. Apply for Douyin Access 

1）Please apply for Douyin access on the DerbySoft Unified Platform: https://unifiedplatform.derbysoftsec.com/. You can also contact the DerbySoft administrator for application assistance. 

2）Wait for approval.

3）Receive an email for product admin authorization after approval

Step 4：Complete Property Connector Connection 

1. Continue Channel Setup

After completing all the above steps, you can proceed with channel setup in the Property Connector platform. Go to “Channel Management” - “Available Channel” and select Douyin. Click “Continue Setup”.

1）Basic

Choose the currency and pricing model (OBP/RBP) based on your pricing strategy. 

Important note:
Douyin only supports Occupancy Based Pricing (OBP), not Per Day Pricing (PDP), please select OBP.


2）Rate Rules

Choose rate type to Douyin (ABT / AAT), rate types from Res, and edit offset rules if applicable.

3）Currency Conversion

You can enable the currency conversion and select the currencies you need to convert.


2. Select Channel Room Rates/Room Types

Select the eligible room rates and room types and click “Go Live”

Step 5：Successful Activation

Congratulations! Your integration with Douyin is activated. You can find Douyin in “Channel Management” - “ Connected Channel”.
