Channel-side preparation work

Please confirm whether your property has cooperated with the channel and has completed establishing property information at the channel end.



Channel Setting

1. Channel Activation

a. Go to Channel and click on Available Channels. Then Select Airbnb and click on Connect.


b. Airbnb Hotel Type

As there are different direct connection modes offered by Airbnb, please ask the hotel to determine which mode of direct connection you will use with Airbnb. 


  • If the hotel type is Independent, after selecting the click Activate and wait for Property Connector’s approval.
  • If the hotel type is Group, after selecting hotel type, you also need to select Airbnb Group Name, then click Activate and wait for Property Connector’s approval.


c. You will receive the activation email after the channel is activated.



2. Channel Setting

a. After DerbySoft’s approval, go to Channel and click on Available Channels. And select Airbnb and click on Continue Setup.


b. Completed the Basic setting and rate rules in the Channel Setting.

Important:
1.Please click Connect with Airbnb in Host Authorization to complete the association authentication between DerbySoft and Airbnb in the basic setting.

2. Completed the rate rules and click GO live.


3. Online Success

Congratulations! After Mapping is completed and submitted, the Airbnb direct connection is live, you can find Airbnb in Channel - Connected Channels.



4. Channel Mapping

Select the Airbnb Room Rates under the Show Mapped selection.


5. Extended Setting

a. Select Rate Plan and click Update Button.


b. Update the extension Settings and select the corresponding Cancel policy.

Cancel Policy (Required): To select the cancellation policy that applies to all bookings on Airbnb, you can choose one of the following.

  1. Flexible: Full refund 1 day prior to arrival. If canceled after a trip starts, refund of accommodation fee for nights not used 24 hours after the cancellation.
  2. Moderate: Full refund up until 5 days prior to arrival. If canceled after a trip starts, a 50% refund of the accommodation fee on nights not used 24 hours after the cancellation

  3. Firm: Full refund up until 30 days prior to arrival. 50% refund of accommodation fee up to 1 week prior to arrival, then non-refundable.

  4. Strict: Full refund within 48 hours of booking and at least 14 days of check-in. After, 50% refund up until 1 week prior to arrival

  5. Super Strict 30 Days: 50% refund of accommodation fee up until 30 days prior to arrival, then non-refundable.

  6. Super Strict 60 Days: 50% refund of accommodation fee up until 60 days prior to arrival, then non-refundable.

  7. Non-refundable: No refund.

Important:
You can select the Super Strict policy only with additional Settings and approval from Airbnb.
