After joining channel promotion campaign, reservation you received consists of promotional information (e.g. Promotion code, PMS Rate Plan ID, etc). By setting up Channel Promotion you are able to obtain this information in your PMS


        Channel Promotion applies to
        1.) CTrip
        2.) Booking.com

2. How to use Channel Promotion

2.1 Enable / Disable Channel Promotion

In Channel > Channel Promotion > [Identify Promotion reservation from Channel] is disabled by default. No promotional information is shown on reservations. You are also not able to process promotional rate

When [Identify Promotion reservation from Channel] is enabled, you will receive promotional information on reservations. You are also able to process promotional rate if needed


2.2 Process Promotional Rate

After you enable [Identify Promotion reservation from Channel], you can choose the Promotion Rate Process Type

a) Uncheck [Process Promotion Rate]:We will only send the channel rate amount to PMS

b) Check [Process Promotion Rate]:We will process your promotional rate with 2 options:

2.2.1 Restore to Original Rate

We will restore the [Rate received from Channel] to your original channel rate amount and send to PMS


    If your CRS/PMS has price verification function and not able to process a reservation with a discounted rate, you can check this option in order for the reservation to process.
Promotional details will be displayed on the Reservation Comment

2.2.2 Replace to PMS Promotion Rate Plan ID

(a) Promotion rate will be replaced to your PMS Rate Plan ID by identifying [Promotion Reservation Rate Plan] and [Channel Promotion Code]. You can find this information in your Reservation's Comment

(b) When [Channel Promotion Code] is N/A”:    It will update to your PMS's existing promotion code and send to your PMS. Promotion information is not available on your reservation 


        If your PMS does not support derived rate and you need different promotion rate plan ID you can enter [N/A] in [Channel Promotion Code] in order to send different PMS rate plan ID.
You are able to add multiple PMS rate plan ID based on your operational requirement

2.2.3 Default replace to PMS rate plan ID

You can set a default PMS rate plan ID should it fail to replace the PMS Promotion rate plan ID
