Preparation Before the onboarding


Step 1 - No Account with Booking.com

If you do not have an account with Booking.com, please register your property in https://join.booking.com



Step 2 - Login with Account

If you have an account, login to your hotel portal:https://admin.booking.com



Step 3 - Select "Derbysoft Property Connector" as your Connectivity Provider

Click ‘Account' at the top right corner, and click 'Connectivity provider’.


If this option is not available in the menu, please contact your Booking.com Market Manager for the connectivity features.



Step 4 - Switch Providers

Click 'Search'


Click 'Switch providers' if you are using other channel manager. 



Step 5 - Select "DerbySoft Channel Manger"

Enter ‘derbysoft’ in the search bar, and choose ‘DerbySoft Channel Manager' for the connection. Check the checkbox for types ‘Rates and Availability’, ‘Reservations’, 'Content' and 'Photos'. Then click 'Connect’ at the bottom.




Step 6 - Accept the Service Agreement

A contract of the Service Agreement and Service Schedule for first time user to review, please click "I Agree" 




Step 7 - Confirmation Email

A confirmation letter will be sent to DerbySoft. Please wait for the approval from the DerbySoft Customer Success team.


 

On DerbySoft Property Connector Portal

Step 8 - Mapping Booking.com channel


Select ‘Channel' on the sidebar. 


Click 'Available channels’ on the top bar. 


Find Booking.com in the channel list. 


Click 'Connect'.


Note: DerbySoft Property Connector will send you a confirmation email to complete the activation and mapping process.


 

Step 9 - Activate Channel

Input "Booking Property ID" and select "Group" or "Independent" under "Booking Hotel Type". Click "Activate" button at the bottom of the screen.

 

Note:
Please make sure the commercial agreement has been signed.


Please wait for DerbySoft Customer Success team to activate the connection. Once completed, you will receive a confirmation email to complete the activation and mapping process.



Step10 - Complete the Channel Setting


Once we have activated your connection, you can locate the channel under "Available Channel", click the icon to continue.  



a.) Set up your Currency and Pricing Model (OBP or RBP).


b.) Set up the channel request Rate Rule and Commission accordingly:       


c.) Click "Go Live"


d.) Finish the channel mapping, then click 'Save'

Please ensure hotel rate plans in Property Connector match with Rate Plans Channel.

We highly recommend to use the same room and rate names in channels and Property Connector to facilitate the mapping process.



Step 11 - Connected Channel

Congratulations! The connection is lived when you have finished all the setting.

You can find the channel in the list ‘connected channel’.

 


Step 12 - Channel Promotion

Channel promotion setting for Booking.com Genius rate.


Once the channel is live, you can set up in Channel Promotion Property Connector Advanced Feature to create and connect existing promotions with your rate plans. The promotion code will overwrite your PMS rate codes.
