How to Add and Manage Tax and Fee

Overview
After your rate plan is set, you can enter the General page to maintain tax information through the Property in the navigation bar.
Step 1 Click 'Property' on the side bar.
Step 2 Choose 'Tax and Fee' from the sub-menu

Step 1 Add tax
Navigate to the tax page through the Property navigation bar, and click Add Tax or Fee in the upper right corner.
Step 2 Fill in the tax information
1) Name of the Tax or Fee rule
2) Date Range of the room rates that the Tax/Fee will be applied to
3) Charge Type: How the Tax or Fee works
Options:
- Per Room Per Night
- Per Person Per Night
- Per Room Per Room
- Per Person Per Room
4) Amount of the Tax or Fee: Amount of the tax or fee
Options:
- Fixed
- Percentage
5) Assignment: What level of room rates the Tax or Fee rule will be applied to
Options:
- Room Type: The rule of this Tax or Fee will be applied to the room rates of the selected Room Type by default.
- Rate Plan: The rule of this Tax of Fee will be applied to the room rates of the selected Rate Plan by default.
- Property: The rule of this Tax or Fee will be applied to the room rates of the property by default.
- Specific Room Rate: The rule of this Tax or Fee will be applied to none of the room rates by default.
Note: If you would like to update tax information, find the corresponding tax in the Tax or Fee list and click the Edit button in the Action column on the far right.
