Overview

This article shows you how to create a property in 2 steps.

Step 1: Creation

After your user address is verified and activated, your user role is able to create a new hotel after logging in to https://pc.derbysoftsec.com.

Click on the Create button.

Step 2: Input Hotel Data

1. Tell us about your property - Basic information

a. Enter the name, including the Property Name and Property Local Name.

b. Input the location information (Country/Region, Province/State, City, Address, Time Zone and Postal Code).

c. Supplement other information (Property Type, Room Number, Primary Contact Email, Primary Contact Phone Number).

2. Select your PMS

Please select the PMS your property is using, or you can start without PMS Integration.

3. Connect your PMS

a. For PMS Setup, make sure you have already completed the configuration in your PMS to authorize and authenticate the connection with DerbySoft Property Connector.

b. For PMS Basic, please enter the PMS Hotel ID and Chain Code.

4. Provide more information

a. Enter the contact info (Official Phone Number, Official Website).

b. Complete the configurations for the bookings email notification (Failed Bookings Notification Recipient, All Bookings Notification Recipient, Highlights emails for arriving reservation requests).

c. Add description (Short Description, Long Description).

d. Complete the advanced settings (Child Policy, Age Limited of Child, Reservations, PMS Rate Type).

5. Submit your activation request

Review all the data and click Submit. You will receive an email notification once your hotel is activated.
