Before you Read
The DerbySoft Property Connector provides the OPERA users with the feature to map the channel to the pre-defined profiles in your OPERA when the bookings are delivered to your OPERA system via OXI interface.
The DerbySoft Property Connector supports 4 types of profile mappings in our system: Agent Profile, Company Profile, Group Profile, and Source Profile.
- Where you can map the channel to the Agent profile in your OPERA
- Where you can map the channel to the Company profile in your OPERA
- Where you can map the channel to the Group profile in your OPERA
- Where you can map the channel to the Source profile in your OPERA
- Extended Setting
If you want to have different profiles for bookings with different payment methods (POA or Prepaid) in your OPERA, you can toggle the extend setting and map the channel to different profiles based on the payment method (POA or Prepaid).
For example, you can map 'EXPEDIA PREPAID' for Expedia collect bookings from Expedia, and 'EXPEDIA POA' for hotel collect bookings.
Important: When you try to map the channel to one profile, both Account and Profile ID are required.
How to find the profile ID for one channel
Step 1 Click Profiles on the OPERA PMS
Step2 Search for the channel account by the channel name
Step3 Find the profile ID
Outcome
Once you have input the profile account and ID correctly, you can find the booking in your OPERA with the mapped profile. Please refer to the screenshot below.
